Lord Blackwell Visits Belfast Charity Groups

The Chairman of Lloyds Banking Group, Lord Blackwell, was in Belfast to learn about the many community projects supported by the Lloyds Bank Foundation for Northern Ireland.

Lord Blackwell saw first-hand how the Foundation in Northern Ireland funds grassroots groups to really make a difference in Northern Ireland. Since the Foundation began 30 years ago, it has given £32.5million in grant aid to more than 8,000 charities.

Lloyds Bank Foundation for Northern Ireland which has contributed £33.8m to the Voluntary and Community sector over the past 30 years has been re-named the Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland.
