Antrim Enterprise Agency launch New Initiative!

Antrim Enterprise Agency receives funding from Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland to support the delivery of their series of Mind Your Business & Finance information clinics.

The clinics are designed to help individuals gather the key information required when starting a business and to help alleviate the stress and remove the fear factor of what is involved as for many contemplating self employment, these issues can be enough to stop them from taking their idea any further.

Chairperson, Imelda McMillan says “The Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is delighted to be able to support the work of Antrim Enterprise Agency. The grant of £3,890 will be used to encourage those considering self – employment through information clinics on business and finance.  We wish the organisation continuing success with their excellent work, supporting future entrepreneurs within the local community.”

So whether you are working in a job at the moment that is not fully utilising your skills or qualifications, currently out of work, been made redundant, looking after the home, just out of school and considering starting a business then these clinics are for you.

Melissa McAllister, Bank Manager of Halifax Abbey Centre, says “The Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland operate a colleague Matched Giving Scheme, matching the volunteering and fundraising efforts of employees supporting local charities. It is my pleasure to facilitate this certificate presentation today, raising the profile of this wonderful charity to colleagues in the branch, and celebrating the work of the Foundation”
