Jim McCooe has been employed by the Bank for almost 35 years and is currently Head of Customer Contact for Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) in Belfast. For the past 17 years Jim has held Senior Management positions in the Bank across the Branch Network, Fraud & Disputes and Customer Contact. He is also currently a member of the national Senior Leadership Group for Lloyds Banking Group.
For the past twelve years, Jim has also held the position as the Group's Regional Ambassador for Northern Ireland, representing the Bank externally across the Region. From 2010 to 2019 Jim also completed his full term as a proud Trustee of the Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland. Jim has recently been delighted to return to the Foundation as their first Patron in NI. He is also currently a member of Queen’s University Belfast Employer’s Forum.
Jim is a Graduate of Durham University. He has been married to Edel for 30 years and they have two grown-up children, Jordan and Shannon.
Away from work, he is a Trustee of a small independent charity and an active volunteer in both his local Church and local football club. He also supports Manchester United when he gets the chance!
